Louis grew up in rural Indiana, and he and his family live near Virginia Tech’s campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. In addition to his work as an Assistant Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Virginia Tech, he is a Senior Fellow at University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton People Analytics and a Research Fellow at ghSMART, an executive search and consulting firm. In his downtime, Louis enjoys spending time with his family, reading (fiction, non-fiction, history, and philosophy), hiking, playing basketball, doing home construction projects, and attending concerts and music festivals.
