The Workplace Assessment and Social Perceptions Lab focuses on applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence in the world of work, as well as investigating the social psychological processes involved during interpersonal interactions. We conduct research that helps organizations understand how to assess psychological constructs from enacted behaviors, reduce algorithmic bias and enhance fairness, help workers learn and develop using machine learning and artificial intelligence, and advance our understanding of interpersonal perception (e.g., first impression formation) at work.
